Mindmanager and Mac tip concerning missing text in PDF exports

The problem
About a year ago a Hypershifter created a project plan with task information and sent the file as a PDF to a fellow Hypershifter. The latter thought his colleague was kidding. Nearly all text in the (sub)topics had disappeared.
After this strange problem occurred a few more times we discovered the source of the problem, MindManager for Windows export functionality. A mindmap created in Windows and exported as a PDF file can give problems on Mac OSX. When opening the PDF it is possible part of or all text is …

Livestream livemindmapping great succes TEDxRotterdam

The Luxor Theater was the location for TEDxRotterdam on last June 4, 2010. Speakers from all over the world gathered to present ideas which are worthy enough to be distributed. Or: Ideas Worth Spreading. The theme of the day was: ‘Somethink Completely Different. The program consisted of several special performances and Talks. Google has been around for only 11 years. In this 2 minute video which is published by the Google Channel UK on Youtube one gets a nice overview on the history of Google and the launch of its services. This overview is presented in a chronological way. This video ends with the recently launched beta of Wave.

Wave to a new way of communicating

Google is developing a new communications platform: Wave. If email should be invented in 2009 the result would be Wave. Email has been around for 40 years. Email has pro’s and cons. Earlier this year Google gave a sneak preview of its new service in a one and a half hour presentation.  Someone made a short visualization on the potential of Wave in a short video which has some resemblance with the ”In plain English” video series.
