Brian: I would say that the fun of the discovery and discussion comes with the process. That is true. It is more fun to say "Actually, I do that pretty well." than to dwell on our inadequacies. Those are certainly there to nag at us all the time, anyway. So putting strengths top of mind and enabling their daily use is the benefit. That takes recognition, acknowledgment, adjustment and action. There needs to be a positive committment to putting them to useful purpose and helping others to enable that to happen.
I really think StrengthsMapper clients will come up with some great Personal Strengths Posters. I can hardly wait to start a gallery of them to share. Can you imagine the collage of photos, clip art and quotes that can personalize how individuals 'wear and display' their best strengths might look. What impact they can have! This will be very fun and informative.
Thanks for your thoughts.

The ideal answer would best come from Mike Taylor, the developer of the StrengthsMapper software.
I’ll pass this onto Mike, asking he personally comment on your very interesting question.

Very interesting. I wonder though doesn't the strength of finding out each others strength lie in the process of discovering and discussing it with your collegues?
