As a Communications Consultant I have discovered the power of MindMapping since 2007. Before that I was always interested in the power of visualization and design. After I discovered MindMapping I started to use it very often. I decided to further improve my skills and became a trainer in electronically and hand drawn MindMapping at Word of Minds (a network agency founded in The Netherlands).

At World of Minds I train people to use MindMapping in different fields of business application such as Knowledge Management, Project Management, Account Management & Sales, Meetings & Brainstorms. I have trained people ranging from governmental bodies, businesses, text writers, agencies etc. The most fascinating thing about training people in MindMapping is seeing the spark in their eyes when they realize the power of this thinking technique and the things they could do with it. Besides training people I coach people in specific application of MindMapping and visualization within their work processes. At events and congresses we do live mindmapping sessions. On a big screen the audience can follow the presentations and speaker live. Afterwards we publish the MindMaps in the form of a PDF or website.

Besides being an entrepreneur at alexida, working at World of Minds I am manager of the international community Hypershifters. This community has a focus on visualization and tooling such as mindmapping. At the end of 2009 Hypershifters had a scoop with live mindmapping the TEDxAmsterdam event.

Hypershifters trains people in several visualization tools face to face in the Netherlands and abroad. Besides training we offer workshops and combinations trainings such as hand drawn MindMapping and the application of iMindMap, MindMapping and the New Way of Work etc.
